Facebook timeline of several individuals is now stuffed with spam
video from their friends who have clicked on the link which has come up
on their timeline.
The thumbnail is posted along with the link on the timeline appearing like a video apart from this the spammer has cleverly succeeded in posting the users names in the post which appears in the timeline. This further enforces the individual to think the video to be a valid post which has been done by his/her friend since it directly provides the name with an urge to watch the video.
Once the link is clicked, it is obvious that anyone will understand that it is a spam, however there is a possibility that this spam will spread to be included in the timeline of the persons in their friends list as each hour passes on and it was also said that these people have no idea about how this happened.
Step 1: Clicking on the link will send to the page which is quite similar to the one given here.

Step 2: In order to continue with viewing of the video, it will show that it is essential to Install Plugin. There are people who do not spend time to see the look of the page to understand that it is not a valid Youtube page. Hence the link is clicked.

Step 3: If the browser in which it is used is Firefox, allow will be clicked by the individual.

Step 4: Most of them will directly click Install after the countdown without noticing that the site serving this add-on is provided under YouTube Extension heading.

Step 5: The page might simply have been refreshed or a lame video might have been played leading the user to be annoyed that the intended video was not a real one.
1) The first step should be to open browser >
Click on Options > Select Addons Or Press Ctrl+Shift+A

2) Click Remove button beside YouTube Extension or anything like it.

3) Re-open the browser after doing this
For Chrome Users:
1) Open Browser >
Click on Spanner Icon (settings) > Tools > Extensions

2) Click on Remove button beside Extension YouTube

After finishing the above steps, it is best to make use of C-Cleaner and clean all the existing cookies and caches of the browsers.
Open Privacy settings > How you connect > Who can post on your timeline > Change it to “Only Me”
